OUR STORY
In 2021, Katie and Jim Solomon started Birchcliffe Kennels. They bought a 20 acre piece of land outside of Huntsville, Ontario with a pond and a river running through it and starting building their dream home! Paradise! This allowed them to start working towards their dream of breeding and raising golden retrievers and French bulldogs.
The love of dogs has always been in their blood! Katie grew up carefully watching and learning from her parents who operated a very successful kennel. Valerie and Brian Cooper started Cooperslane Kennels in 1999 raising labrador retrievers as companion and service dogs. Valerie has since retired and is acting as their mentor and sharing her many years of expertise with them.
